Born in 1979, Eugene Cussons manages the Jane Goodall Institute’s Chimpanzee Eden – South Africa’s first chimpanzee sanctuary. As a primate expert, he has been featured on USA’s Animal Planet for several years, and also hosted several television series, such as Escape to Chimp Eden. He has a Business Management and Economics degree and is a qualified skipper, sky diver, aircraft pilot, rock climber and advanced scuba diver.
Penguin published Eugene’s book Saving Chimpanzees in August 2011.
