David Lambkin

About

David Lambkin was born in England but has spent many years in Africa. He divides his time between running his own advertising agency and his pursuit of solitude in the wilder parts of east, central and southern Africa. A keen amateur naturalist, clay pigeon shot and fisherman, he is also a wine lover addicted to Bach and Beethoven, and an enthusiastic but untrained cook.

Plain of Darkness won the 1992 CNA Prize for best debut work when it was published in 1992. Lambkin is also the author of Night Jasmine Man which was published by Penguin in 2002, The Hanging Tree which was published in 2003, and The Voyeur, published in 2005.
