About the Author

Herman Lategan is an award-winning journalist and author from Green Point. Over the years he has written for more than fifty magazines, newspapers and websites, including Vogue Entertaining + Travel, Time Out, House and Leisure, Cape Style, Mail & Guardian, Vrye Weekblad  and Rapport.  His columns were published in two books: Binnekring van spookasems and Opstokers, fopdossers en tweegatjakkalse.  He has also published several poetry collections and short stories. Herman worked at e.tv for five years, and for a decade contributed content to several radio stations, including FMR and Cape Talk.
