Scamper the dog loves living at the bookshop with Paige. Not just the shop, but the whole neighbourhood feels like home. There’s Miss Castellano, who lives in the huge house on the corner and is always happy to dog-sit; Mr Ackermann with his delicious homemade treats, and Huan, who gives the best belly rubs.

When Scamper takes a leaf out of his owner’s book and starts picking out page-turners for his friends, there’s only one problem. What can he choose for Paige, who seems to have read everything imaginable already?
