Nicky Greenwall is a former entertainment reporter and television producer. Her print work has been featured in Marie Claire, Glamour, Elle and the Sunday Times.
As a television news reporter she has covered the Academy Awards, the Cannes, Venice and Rome film festivals and conducted one-on-one interviews with a host of Hollywood stars including; Leonardo DiCaprio, Charlize Theron, Johnny Depp, Emma Thompson, Idris Elba, Angelina Jolie, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Jim Carrey and Hugh Grant to name a few.
Her nationally-bestselling, debut thriller, A Short Life was published by PRH (South Africa) in July 2024.
In 2025 the novel was long-listed for the Sunday Times Literary Award and short-listed for the Neilsen SA Book Awards, voted for by booksellers.
