C.A. Davids’ latest book, How to be a Revolutionary, has won the Sunday Times Literary Prize for Fiction, the 2023 UJ Prize for Fiction as well as the Book Lounge’s 2022 Book of the Year. Her debut novel, The Blacks of Cape Town, was shortlisted for the Edinburgh Book Festival’s First Book Award, the University of Johannesburg Debut Prize, and the sala First-time Published Author Award.
